Mission Statement

The PBWC exists to promote career momentum and open access to a large network of leading business professionals in California and beyond. The mission of PBWC is to provide a forum in which businesswomen from all industries and of all levels can share their wisdom and experience, ignite new thinking, move confidently in the direction of their dreams, fulfill their potential and live remarkable lives.

Why was your organization launched?

The Professional BusinessWomen of California is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the professional and personal development of women by providing tools, resources, training and inspiration.

PBWC is designed specifically to meet the leadership, skill and networking needs of professional businesswomen and entrepreneurs throughout their careers and across industries, and offers women ways to build their support community and pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.

What are the organization’s goals for this year?

  1. Expand ongoing education activities for women at the beginning and end of their careers

  2. Create new ways to network Support women returning to the workforce

Programs and Initiatives to Achieve Goals

1) Annual Conference: A day filled with informative and inspirational sessions
2) Webinar Seminars: Skill building seminars featuring a variety of topics, speakers
3) Breakfast Club: A quarterly learning/networking session with timely speakers and breakout discussions

Annual Major Event

The annual conference is the largest annual gathering of businesswomen in northern California, drawing several thousand businesswomen from a variety of industries to learn new skills and share ideas while networking.

The day includes informative seminars and special interest tracks that offer expert advice on career advancement, financial empowerment, healthy living, work/life balance, and entrepreneurial strategies for non-profit and for-profit organizations.
