Specifications and Examples
Here are the photo
specifications in case you wish to send them "ready to go" for the site:
1) The maximum dimensions are 120
pixels wide x 170 pixels high. (This is preferred
as it gives a much better aspect ratio)
2) Minimum dimensions are 120 pixels
wide x 120 pixels high.
3) Photos can be either gifs or jpegs.
4) Photo clarity is very important!
--Black and Whites are gifs (.gif) -
This is the preferred format for black and whites as they render faster
on the Web in this format.
--Color Photos are jpegs. (.jpg) - the
quality should be no less than 80%.
If you have press photos, and prefer to
have us crop them to the dimensions above, please send them in digital
form via e-mail . If you have referred us to your Web site to grab your
photo, we will do so. We will contact you if your Web Photo will not
work. This may happen if we have difficulty in properly sizing the Web
photo for your profile.
