New Bay Area venue for Live Zydeco &
Dance!
May 19th's band is Mark St. Mary &
the Delta Blues & Zydeco Band; in
Zydeco dance tradition, free dance
lessons are offered at 6:00 and
again during the band's break.
"Zydeco Ted" Ted Sherrod will be our
dance instructor for both events.
Bands for future Zydeco dances tbd.
Gumbo & rice (while it lasts), beer
& wine available for purchase.
Zydeco is a form of American roots
or folk music that evolved during
the late 1800s from the multiracial
French speaking Creoles of southern
Louisiana.
